The Hero Passion Pro and XPro have been launched in India recently following the introduction of the Super Splendor. Both the motorcycles have received some minor power upgrades and new styling updates as a part of the facelift.
The Hero Passion XPro and Passion Pro price starts from Rs. 55,000 and Rs. 54,000 respectively. Now let’s talk about the two bikes individually.
Hero Passion Pro
The Hero Passion Pro is one of the best commuter bikes in the 110 cc segment. The motorcycle gets a stylish bodywork along with modern features. It features a halogen bulb type headlight and a multi-reflector tail light.
The commuter is equipped with a 109.15cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine that makes a maximum power of 9.3 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 9 Nm at 5,500 rpm. This setup comes mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox.
The Passion Pro rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with tubed tyres. The front wheel gets optional disc brakes of 240mm while the rear one comes with a 130 mm drum brake. The bike gets a telescopic and twin-shock swing arm suspension at the front and rear respectively.

The company claims that the bike provides a mileage of around 84 kmpl. However, in the real world conditions, the engine will return a mileage of around 70 kmpl at at average in the city and highways.
Hero Passion XPro
The Hero Passion XPro is a great entry-level motorcycle and gets similar features as its sibling Passion Pro. It has the same engine, and thus returns the same amount of power and torque. The bike is based on the tubular double cradle frame. The brakes, mileage and suspension are all same as the Passion Pro.
However, the bike comes with a different fuel tank design that provides a better riding feel. Moreover, the stiff spring and the seating contour make the riding convenient and perfect. The torque delivery is pretty good at low and mid-range, but lingering at the higher range is not advisable as it has an air-cooling only. It offers the best economy at a speed range of 35 to 50 kmph.
The Hero Passion Pro and Passion XPro are good 110cc commuters in India and are doing pretty well on the sales chart. They competite against the likes of the TVS Star City Plus, Honda CD 110 Dream, Bajaj Discover 110 etc.
Both the Hero Passion Pro and Passion XPro get much-needed styling equipment this year. However, the bike still fails to be the best looking in the current lot. However, these models make a perfect balance between the features, looks and the performance and surely look amazingly good.
